Write your own Python, explore a sample event stream, or turn your webcam into a simulated event camera.
Type any Python using eventcv and numpy; examples are optional starting points. show(frame) draws an EventFrame or NumPy array. Your code is saved locally in this browser.
In webcam mode, define process(events). It receives an EventStream for each processed camera frame. Edit the callback and click Apply code while streaming. show_events(events) draws teal ON and red OFF events. Settings apply when you start the camera. Stop it to change settings.
Simulation retains sensor state between frames and uses capture timestamps. Frames are processed as capacity allows; lower the resolution for faster updates. This simulates events from ordinary video, with timing limited by the webcam. Camera access requires HTTPS or localhost.
The browser build supports CPU event processing and array simulation. Native desktop windows, USB event cameras, HDF5, ONNX and ffmpeg video decoding are unavailable here. Use the installed Python package for those features. Restart Python stops running code and resets its variables.
